IN THIS WEEK’S LESSON

The theme for this week is: Open your heart. Vulnerability is our willingness to take risks and expose ourselves emotionally to others.

As one of my favorite thought-leaders Brene Brown likes to say, “If we want greater clarity in our purpose or more meaningful lives, vulnerability is the path.” Exploring vulnerability might feel a little scary but it has so many benefits which include, building trust and intimacy in relationships, opens us up for more growth, builds empathy and understanding, it also helps decrease anxiety.

Some actions you can do to help you with vulnerability:

Embrace new experiences you’ve never tried

Apologize first

Share your struggles

Explore your creativity

Ask for help (which has always been a struggle for me)

Try voicing your opinion

This week explore stepping away from the fear of being vulnerable and put yourself out there. Strength can be found in vulnerability.
