Wishes Taking Flight
A few weeks ago, a girlfriend and I decided to use “Flying Wish Paper” to cast our wishes into the universe. When you think of making your wishes come true do you conjure up the picture of Aladdin rubbing his lamp and granting you three wishes? Or do you imagine Barbara Eden from I dream of Jeannie crossing her arms and blinking her head and poof your wish appears?
The good news is you don’t just get one wish or three wishes, you get as many as you can dream, create, activate and nurture. Wishes don’t just happen, you need a vision and desire to manifest them. You can use prayer, thought, meditation, journaling, or creating a vision board to put your request out into the universe. Then take the necessary steps in making them come true.
Wishes will take shape…but won’t magically appear. We want to use the law of attraction and the power of manifestation to provide us with opportunities and possibilities. Once you have your vision, it’s time to look for opportunities and take action. Be curious and allow the possibilities to come forward.
What small or big action steps are you willing to take to make your wishes come true? Some questions to ask may be:
What roads are open to me?
What people do I know that can help?
What deliberate steps can I take to get…….XYZ?
Instead of looking for the wish without effort, look for the golden nuggets that will move you forward and take steps to make it happen. For example, if your wish is to get a new job, you might take classes or start networking with people in the industry. You reap what you sow. If you plant an apple tree, an apple tree will grow so don’t expect and orange tree.
As my friend and I lit our flying wish paper on a cold and snowy night, we witnessed our wishes taking flight. Making your wishes come true start with you. It begins with the dream or wish, trusting the universe to manifest it, staying curious and open to possibilities, being on the lookout for opportunities, and taking action to nurture the dream. Then step by step walk right into that wish and be your own Genie.
