Synchronicity
Did you know that the Universe is always working on our behalf? It’s true! We often think we are alone on the journey doing all the heavy work, but the Universe is placing moments, people, opportunities or events in our path that changes the direction of our journey. These meaningful coincidences strung together are referred to as synchronicity.
Recently, during a workshop assignment, I started a synchronicity timeline of how coincidences have lined up in my life. One random thing leads to another, then another and so on. I believe the Universe is constantly throwing meaningful coincidences at us. Some may take years to unfold and other’s come much quicker. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is when I see certain numbers appear over and over, I take notice. Someone or something is trying to get my attention. I’m not always good at seeing the signs, but believe me they’re there. Again and again the Universe puts people, circumstances, events and opportunities in my path until I acknowledge them and take action.
Have you ever had that out-of-the-blue feeling that you’re being nudged to take a different action? Or that at the last minute you decide to attend a party and meet someone that changes everything? Or you’ve suddenly decided to take a different way home and later learned there was an accident or delay on your normal route? Try looking back on your life, putting events together that added up to something much greater than you ever could have imagined.
Meaningful coincidences can have both positive and challenging moments along the way that teach us valuable lessons or change the trajectory of our life for the greater good. All these experiences make us who we are today.
Synchronicity signs let us know we’re on the right track, but we don’t always recognize when those moments are happening. They are often disguised as hurdles or difficulties but when we look back on the journey, they were the sparkling gems that made us shine.
I invite you to pay attention to signs, numbers, patterns, people, or opportunities. I also invite you to uncover a beautiful and imperfectly perfect set of meaningful coincidences that created something extraordinary in your life. I’m confident we have more than we could ever remember, and never compare your journey to anyone else; your story is perfect for you.
