How Do You Want to Show Up
We are energetic beings. What does that really mean? We are simply exchanging energy constantly with others. When you arrive at a family function, do you show up in love, or resistance? When you meet your partner for a date night, are you there in full presence and acceptance or holding a grudge? When you cook dinner at home, is it infused with love or frustration?
When we slow down enough to tap into the energies within us, we can begin to understand that of another. How can we take care at better managing our energies so that when we aren’t meeting life with resistance, and are able to flow, even when it doesn’t seem to go our way?
Try maintaining practices that keep you grounded and you’re able to come back into your heart space, when the ego wants to take you in another direction. Your heart space radiates your energy. Slow down and start paying attention. It will change your life. You have an opportunity to shine your light or dim your light every second of every day. It’s your decision what type of energy you’re casting out into the universe. Are people around you feeling light and easy or are they feeling heavy?
Some people can feel energy very easily, however, my feeling and then my knowing came to me over time. When I look back it was definitely there I just wasn’t paying attention. In fact as I described it to a friend, I used the words “I think I’m connected to source energy when I feel this and I believe I’m connecting to my higher self,” and she questioned me by saying, “You think”? It was just a confirmation to me that I didn’t think but I knew 100%. I just wasn’t paying attention.
When I’m connecting to my higher self and what I call source energy, I have a tingling that usually starts in my core and radiates out. I know I’m getting a clear message about whatever I’m seeking to learn or what the universe wants me to feel or know. It’s hard to describe but for me I know it’s a clear sign I need to listen. Yours may be different from mine but our bodies are always giving us messages, it’s whether we decide to take notice or not. So whether it’s a feeling you get when you walk in a room or a feeling you get when you know something isn’t quite right or makes you giddy, it’s all energy.
When I share my positive energy with others, they can feel it, and can inspire them to share their’s. Even though the world seems pretty dark these days, we are witnessing people sharing their gifts, and their light with the world. So my friends, I propose a shift. A shift from scarcity to abundance, from fear to love and from darkness to light. Now is the time to do what brings you joy and share it with the world. As simple as it seems, the impact will be meaningful for you, for your community, and for the world.
Everything is energy. How do you want to show up? In love and acceptance or in anger and frustration? You get to choose.

Practice gratitude
Focus on the positive things in your life
Surround yourself with inspiring people
Meditate or practice mindfulness
Whenever possible remove negative influences from your life
